An example of the format of a file from which parameter values are read in:

for each parameter give whether it should be optimized, its likely minimum and maximum values and its initial value. When a parameter is not to be optimized, the initial value will be fixed for the duration of the model run and the minimum/maximum range are ignored

lapserateartm

Air temperature lapse rate. The rate at which air cools with a change in elevation.

lapserateprcp

Precipitation lapse rate. The rate at which precipitation changes with elevation.
